"Real Food is the key to sustaining a healthy mind and body"
So you want to Make Men Want
You? But you think he'll only want you if you have the perfect figure
and perfectly applied makeup and perfect hair blah blah blah
No!
Men love women who love themselves - it is really simple. Sooo
here is the paradox - you can workout and eat right cause it feels good
and you enjoy it - or you can do it because you think he'll lose
interest if you dont.
One way you are confident and happy and in control of your health and
happiness- (awesome) The other way means you never feel good enough and your entire self
worth is tied up in his opinion of you....(not so awesome)
Food is glorious. But so is looking great in your clothes and feeling
great about your body.
So if you want to feel healthy and get your body to an ideal weight for
you...
Here are some Real Food tips:
Ban Sugar
Too much sugar is really bad for your vitality and energy. It plays
havoc on your emotions and your skin. Learn about low gi foods and make
these a large part of your diet. Make a treat just that "a treat" not a
daily occurance.
Eat regulary
Eat a nourishing breakfast, lunch and dinner and for snacks you want to
stick to fruits and vegetables - you can add a few nuts, hummous, or low
fat yogurt too if you like. Real Food is so good for you that you can eat alot and not gain weight.
Vege it up
Every meal should contain mostly veges,
some protein (meat, chicken, fish, tofu, beans) and a little carbs- (
basmati rice, whole grain bread, quinoa, oats, soba noodles)
Mix it up
You can skip the carbs in the evening meal if you like and its ok to
occasionally have a protein free meal too like soup or salad, with a
bread roll- if you are craving it, or just feel like a light meal.
Always Hydrate
Drink heaps of water and make friends with green tea and other herbal
teas these help keep your body vital and metabolism chugging along.
Limit booze
Try to not drink alcohol during the week - or if you do make it just the
one glass with dinner, same with the weekend try to stick to 2 drinks
max per night- I know this can be hard for some- but you will feel much
better for it long term. If you have a break from drinking you
will be
amazed how good you look and will likely want to cut down
permanately. If you switch to having one or two herbal teas in
the evening you will
find you get a different cleaner feeling of unwinding and peace rather
than the addictive sedation of alcohol.
Everything in moderation
Including moderation! have one meal or day per week where you go easiar
on yourself and you eat some of your favourite less saintly
foods - over time you will probably crave bad foods less and less.
Never Diet!
simply make Real Food choices that are nourishing and that sustain you.
Eat Fat
But the good kind and in small amounts, olive oil, flaxseed oil,
coconut oil, fish oils, and even a little butter! are great for
your skin and hair. Some form of good fat should be incuded in almost all your meals.
Enjoy the ritual and love
planet earth!
Take pleasure in buying, preparing and eating food. Enjoy it, learn
about cooking and health. Food and water sustain us and we are lucky to
have it. Always be grateful. And find ways to be kind to the earth too-
